Research background
Epitalon, also written Epithalon, is a synthetic four-amino-acid peptide — alanine, glutamic acid, aspartic acid, glycine — developed as a shortened analogue of a peptide isolated from the pineal gland. Research examines Epitalon principally in two areas: telomerase activity in cell culture, and circadian and pineal regulation in animal models. Much of the foundational literature originates from a single research group over several decades, and independent replication is comparatively limited — worth weighing when reading claims made about this compound. Research Use Only. Not for human or veterinary use.
Supplied as a lyophilised powder for laboratory research use only. Any context described above refers to published preclinical or in-vitro research — not to human or veterinary use.
