Research background

GHK-Cu is a tripeptide — glycine, histidine, lysine — that forms a stable complex with copper(II). That copper affinity is central to how it is studied: most of the literature concerns the complex rather than the peptide alone. Solutions are characteristically blue for the same reason. Research examines GHK-Cu in dermal and connective-tissue models, focusing on extracellular-matrix remodelling and on the broad changes in gene expression observed in cultured fibroblasts. The work is largely in-vitro and in animal models. The compound also appears in cosmetic-science literature, which is a separate regulatory context from research material and should not be read across to it. Research Use Only. Not for human or veterinary use.

Supplied as a lyophilised powder for laboratory research use only. Any context described above refers to published preclinical or in-vitro research — not to human or veterinary use.
