Research background
GHRP-6 is a synthetic six-amino-acid peptide and one of the earliest growth-hormone secretagogues developed. It acts at the ghrelin receptor (GHS-R). Its historical importance in research is notable: work on GHRP-6 preceded and helped lead to the identification of ghrelin itself. Published research examines GH-secretion signalling in cell and animal models. Unlike later selective compounds, GHRP-6 also produces appetite-related signalling in models, which is a frequent subject of study in its own right. Research Use Only. Not for human or veterinary use.
Supplied as a lyophilised powder for laboratory research use only. Any context described above refers to published preclinical or in-vitro research — not to human or veterinary use.
