Research background
Kisspeptin-10 is the shortest biologically active fragment of kisspeptin, a peptide encoded by the KISS1 gene and signalling through the KISS1R receptor. Its significance in research is upstream: kisspeptin signalling is understood to sit above GnRH in the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal axis, making it a subject of interest in reproductive-endocrinology and puberty-onset studies. Much of the foundational understanding came from human genetic studies; the peptide itself is studied preclinically. Research Use Only. Not for human or veterinary use.
Supplied as a lyophilised powder for laboratory research use only. Any context described above refers to published preclinical or in-vitro research — not to human or veterinary use.
