Research background
KPV is a three-amino-acid sequence — lysine, proline, valine — corresponding to the C-terminal fragment of alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone. It retains a portion of the parent molecule's activity without its pigmentary effects, which is why it is studied separately. Research examines KPV in inflammatory-signalling pathways, including NF-kB-related work, in cell culture and animal models of intestinal and dermal inflammation. Evidence is preclinical. Research Use Only. Not for human or veterinary use.
Supplied as a lyophilised powder for laboratory research use only. Any context described above refers to published preclinical or in-vitro research — not to human or veterinary use.
