Research background
Tesamorelin is a synthetic analogue of growth-hormone-releasing hormone, stabilised by an added trans-3-hexenoyl group that resists enzymatic breakdown while retaining GHRH-receptor binding. Research examines Tesamorelin in growth-hormone-release signalling and in lipid-metabolism models, particularly visceral adipose tissue. The compound has been through a separate pharmaceutical development and approval process for a specific clinical indication; that programme is distinct from material supplied for laboratory research and does not describe it. Research Use Only. Not for human or veterinary use.
Supplied as a lyophilised powder for laboratory research use only. Any context described above refers to published preclinical or in-vitro research — not to human or veterinary use.
